Game Conventions THE WORLD BOARDGAMING CHAMPIONSHIPS
This is the General Discussion Board for the World Boardgaming Championships (WBC). The BPA is an organization of boardgame enthusiasts from around the world dedicated to promoting the play of boardgames and non-collectible cardgames. The WBC is the primary annual convention sponsored by the BPA, featuring over 100 tourmament-level competitions, a Juniors Program for children 12 and under, demos for learning new games, an auction, an outstanding vendors area, and casual Open Gaming play. The 2009 WBC is scheduled for Aug. 3-9 at the Lancaster Host Resort and Conference Center in Lancaster, PA with numerous Pre-Cons the preceding weekend.
